Artist's Notes: This series of paintings were conceived by the artist when he was about 17 years old. Some of the scenes have been painted several times and sold as hand-made greeting cards. Each painting is an original; hand drawn and hand painted by the artist sometime between the years 2004 and 2007. The paper is thick and folded, suitable to frame or as a stand alone card.
References: Luke Pan's work somewhat imitates traditional Chinese art yet he does so in his own way. His work brings to mind Edward Hicks the famous 18th century American artist and preacher who was also self-taught and non-traditional.
